Ms Gunathilakan Nee Rajalachime holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of South Australia. She has 15 years of teaching experience and as a Quality Assurance Officer, was responsible for overseeing about 58 centres and working with the principals and their staff teams to implement and monitor programmes ensuring continuous quality. She specialises in pre-service educator training, where her expertise covers Curriculum Development, Transition, Numeracy, and Play. Notably, she has made positive contributions to Action Research on the Transition to Primary School, presented at Ministry of Education (MOE) and Pacific Early Childhood Education Research Association (PECERA) Conferences, and served as a moderator in various workshops.
